It provides a feeling of tranquility and seclusion as soon as you enter its driveway with everything a country goer may want and yet within walking distance of the little village of Barton Stacey with a pub, church and village shop. It is also within easy reach of the historic City of Winchester with its excellent shopping and restaurants.
The cottage was once separate farmers’ cottages which were converted into one property, it has all the unique touches of each cottage including 3 separate staircases and hidden gems you will need to discover for yourself! Although Riverside Cottage is set beside a river the 5 acre garden is fully fenced and gated to ensure everyone’s safety. The River Dever is at the front of the house, on the other side of a little country lane and gated. Casual fishing is available, please ask for details. There are plenty of fishing opportunities round and about, like Dever Springs in Barton Stacey village.
