Riverside Lifestyle began when we first opened the doors to Riverside Cottage, our spacious Hampshire hideaway that’s since been featured among The Sunday Times’ 25 Great British Holiday Rentals. With its exposed beams, flagstone floors, open fireplaces and roses round the door, the house has long been our refuge from the stresses of everyday life.

Riverside Cottage consists of a thatched cottage and lodge – both properties have their own unique qualities. We also have a Studio on the River and a seasonal Yurt.

Activities during your stay

Art drawing classes

We have a specially designed studio by the river – if you want a 1-2-1 or group session just let us know. Otherwise there are scheduled classes of life drawing, painting or space to do your own thing.

Yoga

We offer classes on a Saturday morning, or we can arrange private group classes. If you want a bit more of a ‘push’ why not have a personal trainer to put you through your paces every morning.

Cookery

Maybe cookery is a passion – we can arrange a chef and cooking demonstrations at Riverside Cottage. Learn to make jam or practice decorating that dream cake.

Flower arranging

Hosted by top Hampshire florists are popular for a group activity – especially in preparation for a wedding or Christmas wreath… and made fun with a glass or two!

Relaxation

Relaxed pampering is always essential at Riverside Cottage – we can arrange massages, facials, nail painting and more.

Stay local or venture further – we are perfectly situated to explore a fantastic variety of attractions as well as city culture and shops.

We all had a wonderful week, thank you. Even the dog was sad to go. The Chef was great and the meal delicious.  The croissants & breakfast stuff lasted us the week and was delicious. The Yoga & relaxation was very good and kind Shelley very patient with us- mixture of ages!!

The only complaint is that the week just went too quickly!!
